    Every relationship at some point comes to the all-too-real, yet wish you could avoid the moment of discussing previous se_ual partners. Nobody wants to really talk about it, but there's just some curiosity that humans can't keep themselves from and that's when the question arises: "What's your number?"

    It's just an unfortunate reality we all must deal with and be willing to discuss openly (no fibbing). The good news is, a recent study shows there's a universally agreed upon acceptable number.

    That number will hopefully help you avoid this look of shock and/or embarrassment, whether your number is low or high.

    The study was conducted by and came to the conclusion, that men and women polled agreed that 10 se_ual partners was a fair amount, to ensure ample experience, without just tossing your business around for whom-the-hell-ever. 

    Experience is vital, so that this isn't the scenario you find yourself in on a routine basis, whether it be a relationship or trying out your moves on a new partner for the evening.

    Illicit Encounters' researcher Christian Grant came to this conclusion about the study:

    "The dating game is changing so quickly. I think we are all becoming a lot more tolerant and se_ually adventurous. If we had conducted this poll ten years ago, men would have expected a potential partner to have slept with far fewer people."

    Translation: "Saddle up! People are a lot more accepting of experimental phases these days!"

    However, the poll did find that more than 20 partners was a bit much, so maybe don't just saddle up with any and everybody.

    Basically, the research shows that you can have fun and get to know yourself without becoming a huge turnoff for potential partners in the future who may ask about your se_ual history, as long as you don't go overboard with it. Anyway, it's just a study, and really bears no weight, i.e. who are we to tell you what to do?
